my Backstory
My favorite memory of traveling is when I saw how it impacted my children. Our first big trip was to explore the history that created our country. When I saw my 5-year-old son and 7 year-old daughter become so enthralled with every aspect of the revolutionary war and that time period, I knew that travel would be a keystone to our homeschooling adventure. From wearing her American Girl Felicity dress to Thanksgiving dinner in Williamsburg to my son engrossed on how a silversmiths and blacksmiths made things I knew travel was impacting them in ways the classroom never could. We have traveled to explore all avenues of history and cultures over the years creating life-long learners and avid travelers. These trips we have taken created core memories they will treasure forever.
